London,22nd December 1937

     The railway station was so crowded that day.There were a lot of people there,who did various kinds of activities.Queuing for tickets,waiting for the arrival of the train,and so on.One of the people that looked like he was waiting for the train is a man who sat on the bench near the pillar.His face showed that he was confused that time.It was because a letter that he received last night.

     "Dear Rowan...There's something I want to talk about with you.Just the two of us.Well,in that case,let's meet in the railway station near the Scarlet Street tomorrow,before the sun sets.The place is so easy to find and I'm sure you'll not get lost.Maybe you think that this is crazy,accepting request from someone that haven't mentioned her name,but please,we have met before and I know you're a kind person.Thanks."

     That letter came to his apartment last night when he was finishing his dinner.He was so confused receiving that strange letter.At first he didn't think about it seriously and decided to go to sleep,but,he felt so curious about the mysterious sender that stated they have met each other before.Rowan tried to remember his activities recently.He was an employee in a department store that have to arrange stuffs everyday,and he didn't remember if he has met someone that maybe attracted to him or not.He felt even more confused thinking about that,but,something in his heart told him that he had to go to the railway station the next day.

     "Well,the place wasn't too far from my workplace anyway,I've made my decision and it's time to sleep."

     Time passed by,and the mysterious person hasn't come yet.Rowan felt bored waiting.It was almost twilight,and the number of people have decreased from the daylight.Rowan then got up from the bench,and took a walk around the station.The sound of the passing train joined his steps while he was walking.

     Suddenly,a young woman crashed Rowan while she was running.Her stuffs felt from her hand and Rowan helped her picking them up.That woman said sorry because she was in hurry and she didn't look the person that was walking in front of her.Until that time she hasn't looked at the person's face,but when she did so,she shocked.Then she smiled and said,

     "You come,Rowan.You finally come.I've been wating for you here since the afternoon."

     Rowan shocked.He knew this woman's face.It was her.The customer from last week that had trouble choosing her dog's food in the department store where he worked.So,Rowan helped her to choose it,and at that time they introduced their self to each other.He finally remembered.She was Felicia.Felicia Lockheart.

     "Miss...Felicia?.,Oh I know.It's you.Well,why did you ask me to go here today?Is there a problem with the dog food?.,"said Rowan.

     "Oh,it's not about that.I come here to ask about something.It maybe weird because it's so sudden,but,do you have a girlfriend,Rowan?"ask Felicia.Her face turned red.

     Rowan felt confused hearing the question,but he said,

     "Umm,in fact,I haven't had any this time.Why?"

     "So let me be one,Rowan."replied Felicia at sudden.

     The wind blew as they talked.The sudden conversation,and the last words from Felicia made Rowan surprised.At first he rejected Felicia's request,but once again something in his heart asked him to accept it.So,he decided to take the chance and from that day,they became a  new couple.They also made a promise to meet in the department store where Rowan worked on 25^th December, the Christmas Day.

     The Christmas Day came.Rowan was waiting his new girlfriend in the department store while the customers were choosing stuffs to be bought for celebrating Christmas.At that time,a customer approached Rowan to ask about the quality of the stuffs she wanted to buy.Well,she was a blonde with a slim body anyway.Before she did her will,she slipped and almost fell down,but Rowan held her body so that she would be safe.And at that time Felicia got into the scene and looked that Rowan was hugging a woman.She approached Rowan and said,

      "Rowan?What did you just do?Can I get an explanation from this?"

     Rowan shocked with the appearance of Felicia and tried to explain everything,but suddenly the store's manager came and asked Rowan to helped the customers in the other section.Rowan said to Felicia that  he would come back,and asked Felicia to wait.So Felicia waited without getting a single explanation.

     It was almost midnight,and Felicia was still waiting for Rowan to return.The customers have gone one by one,and at last,she was the only person at that floor.She looked at her watch,and after considering anything,she decided to went home.

     "Looks like I've made a wrong decision.At first I believe in you,Rowan,but now,I doubt you more.Goodbye."said her.She couldn't hold her tears anymore.

     When Rowan returned to Felicia's waiting place,all people have left.Rowan confused.He realize his fault and decided to send Felicia a letter the next day to apologize.The next day came,but before Rowan started to write the letter,a letter came to his house.He then read it as soon as possible and he was so shocked.

     "I'm sorry,Rowan.I've troubled you recently.Actually I want to be with you a little longer,but looks like it's impossible.I have made a false decision in my life,so for the next,let us be apart,because I don't want to believe anyone anymore."

     Rowan felt so guilty reading the letter.He then realized his foolishness that couldn't explain such a simple thing to a woman.Then he decided to go to Felicia's house to explain everything.

     "Felicia,please,believe me.I still love you and I can explain anything that happened yesterday.Please,it's not like you imagined."said him while walking to Felicia's house.

     But as he arrived in Felicia's house,he was told by Felicia's mother that Felicia has gone to Sydney to continue her work.Rowan stunned.He didn't know what to do anymore.So he returned home.In that confusing situation,Rowan write his feelings in a song,and he hoped  that someday if they would meet again,Felicia would forgive his mistakes,and believe in him.

Oscar     : "Good Morning, here is the most actual talk show sadsadsadsa, with our guests today, Mr. Redi, a high school sport teacher, Mr. Mubin, a health journalist, and Mr. Dedi, a young talented football player,okay Mr. Dedi,as a football player,what do you feel about your health in daily life?"

Dedi      : "Well, as a football player, I feel so great and healthy everyday."

Redi       : "Of course, training and doing sport can keep us healthy."

Mubin    : "I agree with you. I often write about teenager's life, including their life problems and so on."

Oscar     : "Okay, that's good. But, as a football player, you tend to feel pain on your leg, didn't you, Mr. Dedi?"

Dedi      : "No. I'm a talented player, so I rarely get any problem with it."

Redi       : "Yes, as a sport teacher, I always train my students well, so they will eventually fine during their activity."

Mubin    : "Ho... great...! I get a good info to write on my blog."

Oscar     : "Oh, I'm so relieved that Mr. Dedi is such a great man, I just worried if you should stay in hospital for troubling your leg."

Redi       : "Yeah, I'm so relieved, too. I also have the same feeling as you."

Mubin    : "Well, so do I. I'm relieved now."

Dedi      : "Well, don't worry about me."

Oscar     : "Well, last, can I get any tip from these great men how to keep your life as possible away from being injured?"

Dedi      : "Yes, you can. It's easy, just do a warm up before doing activity."

Redi       : "In addition of warming up, you also have to pray to the God before doing activity."

Mubin    : "Well, praying and warming up are good ways. Then, we can also eat various kinds of foods that contain phosphorus, calcium, and vitamins to raise our body strength and immunity."

Oscar     : "Oh... thanks. Well, it's so much pleasure to meet you all, I'm so glad."

Mubin    : "Yeah, and you and all of the audience will get my newest book about health for free, one book each. Read it!"

Dedi      : "Great, wonderful!"

Redi       : "Yeah it's such a good book to read. Thanks!"

Oscar     : "Thank you, Mr. Mubin. Oh, no. I get a sudden stomachache, I have to go now. Thank you for you all. Give applause for our guests today. see you next weekend, bye!"

All         : "Bye!"

Koala's Shampoo

Koala’s Shampoo

Once upon a time, in the small village near the mountain trail, there lived a cute koala named Ken. He was strong koala, but he was also dumb. He liked to be tricked by his friends in the village. So one day he wanted to prove that he can also be smart like the others, until one day he got information about the existence of a shampoo smart brain.

Based on the rumor, the shampoo could make anyone that used it to be as smart as human. Felt interested, Ken now started to search for the shampoo’s location. So he asked his parents permission and left his house to start his journey. He also brought many foods to supply him during the journey. When he passed through the village gate, he met a young dragon that looked so suspicious.

The dragon was so scary, so he made Ken wanted to pass him as soon as possible, but the dragon suddenly called him. Ken was shocked, but he got closer to the dragon. The dragon said with a great voice “Hey young boy, do you want to look for the shampoo of smart brain?”. Ken stunned and said, “where does it located and why do you know about it?”. The dragon smiled “I’m a great dragon and i know what is hidden inside everyone’s heart”. Ken became fired up “well, would you like to tell me where does it located?”. The dragon said, “yes, but you have to offer me some of your money in your pocket right now”.

Innocently, Ken agreed the deal and gave the dragon some money. Then the dragon told him the routes. “on the northmost of the mountain it is, in order to get there you also have to pass the den of mountain cheetah and his girlfriend, the hedgedog”.

Ken nodded and thanked the dragon for the help. After Ken passed him, the dragon smiled and said “how such a fool, is there impossible for someone to put a shampoo on top of mountain?”

After a few miles walking, Ken arrived at the middle of mountain trail. He felt so tired and ate his foods a bit. While he was eating, a passing wolf greeted him “hi koala, where are you going? It’s so freezing here”. Ken replied “i want to look for a magic shampoo, do you know about it?”. The wolf told him that he knew and asked Ken to give hime some money if Ken wanted to get more information about it. After agreeing the condition, the wolf said “the shampoo is located on the northmost of mountain, and it’s guarded by a pair of huge polar bear”. Ken thanked the wolf, but he didn’t felt he has been tricked by the wolf. Ken continued his journey to the top of mountain.

Now, he has arrived in front of the den of the cheetah and the hedgehog. The cheetah and hedgehog were standing beside the gate when Ken arrived. They said, “hey wardener, where are ou going?”. Koala told them the purpose of his journey.  As he finished talking, the cheetah ad hedgehog laughed, “there is nothing i up there. Hhaaha you’ve been tricked! The shampoo is located in the deep forest!”. Ken felt so frustated, that he had been tricked . the cheetah then showed him the real map to the woods, and said “i know the location, then why don’t you go with us to the forest?”. The cheetah was eager to eat the koala soon, so he pretended to help him. “spina, let’s go help this things out”, said him to his girlfriend. “well, okay, i will join you”said spina the hedgehog.But, the koala also didn’t know that the cheetah also took advantage of him. Cheetah said to himself “ haha, i cant wait to eat you soon!”.

So, the three of them walked down the trail, and headed south to the main leaf forest. Now, they have been arrived at the forest . Cheetah led the way . Spina walked togethere with Ken. The road was too far away. At the middle of the road, cheetah revealed his true purpose of helping Ken.Cheetah helped Ken because he haven’t eaten meat for a long time, so he was happy hen Ken came to his den.

Ken was scared, looking the cheetah, growled at him. But spina suddenly held cheetah’s step. She said, “ wait, he is our friend, you can’t eat him. But the cheetah didn’t care about what spina had said. He  jumped at spina and confronted Ken in his eyes, and spina was thrown around 5 meters. She died in 5 seconds later. Ken was scared and also sad looking spina. Cheetah then said, “wait, i change my mind. How about we go searching the shampoo togethere?”. Has no other way out, Ken agreed. Then they walked togethere through the forest, until they reached a big shiny gate. That was the gate that guarded the magic shampoo. Then suddenly, cheetah said, “sorry, i’ll go first!” cheetah ran through the gate.

The road behind the gate was extremely dangerous. It like cliffs along the mountain trail. Looking the cheetah running, Ken also tried to catch up with him. When he almost reached the tail of cheetah, he bited it. So the cheetah roared in pain, and he felt down from the cliff. So Ken continued his steps to the shampoo, and finally got it. He was so happy that he could be as smart as human.

After getting the shampoo, Ken returned to his village, then he announced his new discovery to the villagers. So, all of the villagers became as smart as human when they used it.

West Borneo Culture (Gawai Dayak)

Gawai Day or Gawai Dayak is a festival celebrated on 1st June every year.It is both a religious and social occasion.The mode of celebration varies from place to place.Before the big day approaches,everyone will be busy cleaning and preparing food and cakes.

The celebration starts on the evening of 31st May.In most Iban longhouses,it starts with a ceremony called Muai Antu Rua,to cast away the spirit of greed.

Around 6pm or when the sun sets,an offering ceremony called miring takes place.The chief of ceremony thanks the God for the good harvest and asks for guidance,blessings and long life as the purpose of this ceremony.

At midnight,the gong is beaten to get the celebrants attention.Chief of the longhouses will lead them to drink Ai Pengayu,and wishes each other for longlife,health and blessings.

Gawai Dayak celebration lasts for several days,and followed by other activities a few days later,like cock-fighting competition,etc.

My Favorite Item

Hello,back again to my blog.

This time,I want to tell you about my favorite item to all of my blog's followers.

I have so many novels in my home.One of those is my favorite novel.It's a really nice book for me.It's about lovers and betrayers.The title is Endless Night,a novel composed by a very popular writer that also known as the queen of crimes in her era,Agatha Christie.

The novel consists of about 350 pages.I think that's very good.Short story with full of meaningful points of life is described in that novel.That's why it's my favorite.And it's so precious to me because it's a really hard to find book in our era.So I keep this book safely in my house.

I often read it multiple times when there's no much thing to do.It's so great story,so it's not bad to read it again and again.After reading,I usually make a short conclusion of the story in my note book.Well,like I said before,the novel contains many things of guidance in life,and so on.
